Paralegal to Senior In-house Legal Team | Irwin & Dow

    Employment:

    Full Time

This role does not require a long list of qualifications and several years of experience. However, what is essential is experience within a legal setting (either within a law firm or an in-house role) and a highly tenacious, forward thinking and self-motivated approach to each and every task. Providing support to what is essentially a Managing Partner and two Senior Partners with extensive law careers, the position will manage exceptionally confidential investment, new company incorporation and corporate documents for the organisation’s ultra-high net worth clients on a global scale. This DIFC company operates in a highly discreet manner and therefore an unprecedented level of discretion is required at all times when handling corporate filing, management and input of data on to Companies House, new company incorporation management, license renewals and tracking and monitoring documents for client progress. As you will be instructed by a very busy senior team, you will take up the responsibility of preparing all relevant legal documents and notices. It is expected that the successful candidate will have the fortuity and confidence to pick up any unintended or ambiguous errors and not just facilitate a secretarial typing function. You will therefore take a collaborative approach with the senior team on a daily basis and due to the nature of the investments made, you will assist heavily in the completion of compliance documents to regulatory bodies such as the FCA and collate information for stock trade filing and monitor the trade listings. As the sole Paralegal you will also have regular interactions with the wider investment and operational teams in the Dubai office and therefore strong communication and excellent written skills in the English language are essential.

Gaining a great deal of exposure within the private investment sector and the opportunity to develop and learn from a very hands on and highly experienced senior team, the organisation is exceptionally stable and a well reputed firm. We are seeking a highly functioning and diligent legal individual for this position with boundless energy and experience in a fast paced and demanding role. With a fantastic reputation and a long-standing loyal client base, this corporate entity constantly seeks out top talent in the Middle East market and have considerably grown the team in the last 3 years, despite the economic challenges during the pandemic. Therefore, the rewards and learning curve gained here will be second to none and a career defining opportunity awaits.

Irwin & Dow was established by two highly experienced recruitment professionals, Tracey Irwin and Jocelyn Dow. We provide a refreshing approach by working in close partnership with clients and candidates within the Business Support, Secretarial, HR & Finance sectors.

Good staff are key to every business. We recognise and appreciate this, having over thirty years combined recruitment and executive search experience within the region.

Our main aim is to provide a specialist service to clients preferring to work with a bespoke consultancy.

Our values of discretion and diplomacy are paramount and our ultimate goal is to become a partner of choice for all our clients and candidates. More
