Apply now!SUMMARY AND ROLE INFORMATION: Expo 2020 is one of the most unusual and public facing programme of events SAP has ever undertaken. The event will run for 6 months from 01 October 2021-31 March 2022. Successful candidates should demonstrate resourcefulness, flexibility, diplomacy, a go-get and can-do attitude, organizational skills, and event planning experience in a fast-paced environment in a small enterprising SAP Expo 2020 team. The team functions with a high degree of professionalism, flexibility, trust and accountability. ‘SAP House’ is a 900 sq. m. 6th Floor space at the heart of Expo 2020 where the team will assist and facilitate SAP colleagues, partners, customers and government delegations on SAP’s mission and solutions. Our space at Expo 2020 represents SAP’s global brand at all times and this is a customer facing position that requires a knowledge of SAP solutions (training will be provided), a good storytelling style coupled with a desire to learn and help. The space has 5 meeting rooms, a theatre/stage area and a innovation and demo area plus networking space. We will also be looking for those who possess camera and editing skills for our in house studio as well as Social Media knowledge and skills to assist in delivering our message to as wide an audience as possible. This is a learning opportunity second to none.The Expo Intern is a person with the highest level of commitment and motivation to see it through from start to finish. They are proactive and resourceful and can navigate the SAP organization and liaise with customers and to ensure a smooth transition and experience in SAP House. They must foster strong working collaboration with all teams across SAP and have an ability to embrace fast pace and constant change with grace under pressure.LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES An opportunity to work on the first and largest physical global event post Covid in Dubai. Evening work may be needed as special meetings and events can be held at any time and on weekends. EXPERIENCE (ROLE REQUIREMENTS):- Graduated with a University degree, Bachelor/Master in Business Administration / IT or other disciplines – Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar field. – A working understanding of SAP solutions or an ability to learn and deliver this information quickly. – A desire to interact and deliver key messages to customers and visitors. – Orchestrate meeting preparations and speaker rehearsals as well as staged events. – Ability to deal with a diverse audience at all levels with a friendly and helpful attitude. – Excellent communication and team player skills to help colleagues in all areas is a must. – Coordinate site-specific tours and offerings to enhance in house content. – Manage end-to-end logistics to ensure a seamless experience as well as carry out all administrative requirements. – Provide a high-level SAP story as part of the welcome experience. – Ensure all reports and communications of events are delivered to all appropriate audiences – A deep interest in promoting our space and events on social media. – Not all candidates require but an added advantages are desktop editing and film/photography skills.
