    Sales Director – Data Virtualisation | Charterhouse

    Charterhouse is working with a leading US based data virtualization organisation who are looking to hire a Sales Director to join their team in the region. This role reports directly to the Regional VP and will require someone with strong regional experience within data integration and management solutions who is comfortable working closely with the team in the US, Europe and the Region. The key responsibilities of this role will be to initiate, manage and execute direct sales within the region whilst consistently developing and managing existing major accounts. Strong skills within sales presentations, contract negotiations and the full life cycle of on-boarding a new client are absolutely key to this role. Working to further develop the potential client network through indirect sales such as with resellers and distributors is a given with this role, ideally you will be someone that has a strong Sales and Technology background. This role will have strong involvement in the marketing strategy within the region, working with the global team to identify opportunities and develop the plan accordingly.

    The successful candidate must have over 5 years’ experience within enterprise software sales. Having dealt with middle ware, data and application integration solutions around ETL’s, MDM, ESB’s, BPM tools and SOA suites are a must. Fluency with data types and formats, data access and delivery modes, data and metadata management, web and cloud based integration technology are also key for this role. You must be a driven and motivated professional who thrives working independently and can handle the full sales process. You will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or engineering and have a proven track record in a similar role.
