    IT Engineer – Infrastructure | Charterhouse

    Charterhouse are undertaking a search for an internationally recognised British company, which specialises in the industry. The organisations MENA office is located in Dubai, and covers Turkey, Morocco, the GCC and Iraq. The IT Engineer will be part of a newly formed, expanding team that offers 24×7 support to all IT infrastructure, within the geographical area. This role will support all IT Infrastructure, including client hardware, software, servers and network devices, within the Engineers geographical area, ensuring the CMDB contains a detailed record of all systems deployed to date. In conjunction, the IT Engineer will replace any outdated local systems and upgrade as per the global IT policy, whilst testing the local IT business plan, confirming it is current. This mid-level role, will manage the project activity including the deployment of new services, systems, hardware, applications, upgrades, additional automations and other related change activity within the IT infrastructure.

    The client will look to hire a mid-level IT Engineer, whom is able to demonstrate a sustained track record (5 years minimum), within an international organisation, offering IT Engineering solutions, specific to infrastructure and system support. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate essential knowledge of the desktop application delivery, into a managed infrastructure environment, whilst troubleshooting and resolving IT related issues. Heavily user focused, the ideal person will be able to communicate complex IT issues to non-IT literate employees in a friendly, effective manner. Experience of Core Microsoft Technologies is essential, specifically in a customer facing organisations. Given the companies North African coverage, fluency in French would be advantageous.
