    Finance Officer | FracAssets

    The Finance Officer has responsibility for the Firm’s compliance with the applicable Rules in the DFSA’s PIB Module. The Firm holds Category 4 [operating a crowdfunding platform] license from the DFSA. Capable of taking responsibility for defined areas of a scope, to include development of analysis, preparation of questions for target management, and participation in meetings with management. – Show an awareness of materiality in developing analysis and preparing questions. – Demonstrate an awareness of the attributes of good report writing, dashboarding skills and is capable of communicating simple, practical explanations of your analysis and what it means for the business.     We’re looking for enthusiastic, driven individuals,with 2-5 years experience in data analytics with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics or Computer Science (or other similar quantitative disciplines). You will be required to demonstrate following knowledge and skills: – Ability to lead yourself and others so you can deliver results in a responsible, authentic, resilient, inclusive and passionate way. – Willingness to learn about business, and can bring innovation, and fresh thinking, to create distinctive value for our clients and PwC. – Skilled at building and maintain strong and authentic relationships, within your business network and develop new ones outside of it. – Team player and knowledge sharing. – Knowledge of statistical techniques and analysis (such as regression, clustering, sampling, social network analysis). – Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. – Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles. – Knowledge in data extraction, analysis, cleansing, quality and manipulation. – Expertise in data analysis and transformation skills with any of the following software: Alteryx, SQL, R, SAS, Python etc. – Demonstrated ability to visualise data and command over at least on visualisation including Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc. – Desirable Certifications: Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI. – Strong storytelling ability with proficiency in technical communication with both technical and non-technical audiences. – Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Arabic. – The ability and willingness to travel.
