Audit services involve reporting on the fairness in all material respects with which a client’s audited financial statements are presented, in conformity with the applicable financial reporting framework. The opportunity EY is looking for Associate and Senior Auditors to join our Audit practice in Amman, Jordan. In this role you will help our clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your key responsibilities As a member of the Audit team, you’ll make a technical contribution to audit engagements and internal projects. You’ll actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young on existing engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you’ll escalate issues as appropriate. You’ll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. To qualify for the role, you must have – A degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field, or be undertaking a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA – At least two years of professional experience in external financial audit – Fluent Arabic speaking and writing skills Ideally, you’ll also have – Completed a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA – Track record with an international audit firm – Experience with digital audit tools What we look for We are interested in entrepreneurs who have the confidence to develop and promote a brand-new strategic vision both internally and externally.
