Full Time
Contract/Vendor activities
– Review contractor accounts and transactions on on going basis to ensure contractor obligations are adhered to and company interests are protected
– Review and reconcile vendor accounts
Treasury and various bank functionalities
– Ensuring accurate funds are placed in the right bank based on operation needs and on a timely manner
– Negotiate with banks in relation to fixed deposits profits, place them and prepare the necessary supporting documents
– Prepare and maintain check logs
– Prepare and maintain bank files
– Filling payables related entries and ensuring the completeness of those entries
– Prepare various bank letters
Fixed Assets
– Recording fixed assets and depreciation and ensuring whether expenditures are capitalized or not at the time of receiving the invoice
Accounts Payable
– Prepare checks/TT’s and ensure related entries are booked into the system
– Control and review purchase order and contract payments
– Coordinate with HR for any urgent staff related payments
– Ensuring that credit card statements are received and recorded on a timely manner
– Preparing the necessary payables and aging schedule and providing them on a monthly basis to the Account Consolidation
Staff Payables
– Prepare TT’s and ensure related entries are booked into the system to ensure the system is updated at all times
– Prepare the related batch payment schedule along with the TT in case the payment requires a batch payment process
Reports
– Prepare weekly bank position report
– Prepare quarterly payables reconciliations
– Prepare monthly payables disclosure and aging report
General Statement of Duties
– Employees may also perform other task and duties as assigned and required by the Finance Manager including other accountant duties in case of leave or rotation
Qatari Nationals
– Newly graduate: Bachelor of Science in Finance/Accounting
– Preferably Male
– Good command of English language
– Adaptable
– Able to handle payables, fixed assets and Treasury functionalities
