The role is required to bring about further synergy in the tax practice, guidance and take the tax practice to the next level of growth along with the other Tax partners. The incumbent is required to contribute to Firm’s management to grow KSA tax business in time contribute to the overall GCC planning of the tax group.
The key responsibilities of the incumbent would be the following:
• Technical delivery of tax compliance (Corporate Income Tax, Expatriate taxation, Withholding taxes, Zakat, Transfer pricing), advisory, litigation and tax consulting practices.
• Handle the firm’s clients and be responsible for generating new business.
• Identify and communicate to the Client how the vast depth of Accounting and Taxation knowledge coupled with tailor-made products and services that can be leveraged to build appropriate solutions for the Customers.
• Network with external Organisations and build strategic alliances to build the brand value of MBG.
• Support product development initiatives, as required.
• Conduct periodic research and report market intelligence on competitive activity.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to internal units to improve/structure service offerings.
• Enable and leverage the revenue growth opportunities for the MBG Group as a whole and the Tax areas in particular.
• Ability to do cross selling of other services of the firm.
• Drive retention and growth of people – a good people manager.
Chartered Accountant
• 5-10 years of experience from a Financial Services Entity or any other large Professional Services Firm.
• Strong technical capabilities in tax area including international tax, tax planning for HNIs and Private clients etc.
• Must have led client engagements for multinationals especially on providing solutions on structures, complex tax litigation, etc.
• Should have the ability to work in cross functional teams.
• Should have leveraged Technology to bring about associated benefits.
• Strong Inspirational Leadership and ability to Coach and Mentor teams.
• Exhibit the highest standards of professional integrity and business ethics.
• Very good communications skills, both oral and written.
• Strong inter-personal skills.
• Open to new ideas from internal and external customers.
• Strong international outlook and cross cultural exposure.
