Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby) | TechStream Group

Launched in 2017, the company is now rapidly growing and looking to strengthen their team with a Senior Backend Ruby Engineer.

Job Responsibilities
• Designing and developing new web applications.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
• Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Creating back-end components.
• Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
• Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
• Connecting applications with additional web servers.
• Maintaining APIs.

Key Requirements
• Technical Degree
• Several years (6-7) experience in Ruby on Rails
• Strong analytical Skills
• Commercial skills a plus
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Fluency in English (Arabic a plus)
• Experience with Linux Servers / Cloud solutions
• Experience with React and React Native – Advantageous
• Experience with mobile development – objective – C/ Java – Advantageous
• You are a self-starter, flexible and have a good sense of humor
