Charterhouse is working in partnership with a successful eCommerce start-up which has experienced rapid growth over the past few years, due to this our client is now looking to appoint a Growth Strategy Manager. This role will be responsible for managing special projects on behalf of the business and identifying new business verticals to support long term development plans.
This role will report to the Head of Strategy and work closely alongside them to determine the long term business model. There will be the opportunity to take full ownership for special projects from conducting initial research and analysis, presenting strategies to business stakeholders then overseeing the development of new business lines.
This is the perfect role for someone who has a consultancy background and experience of working in a successful start-up or eCommerce organisation, with the ability to make critical business decisions and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. A major focus will be to identify ways of penetrating new markets and building new business lines which support the long term business strategy and optimize revenue streams.
Past experience of successfully developing new business verticals and leading strategic growth projects is a key requirement for our client. There will be a lot of collaboration with the entire team including tech, finance and operations, in addition to acting as a trusted business partner to stakeholders to provide strategic insights and clear road maps to achieve business objectives.
To be considered for this role you should have a bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field, MBA is advantageous. At least 4 – 5 years’ experience working in a multinational consultancy or successful eCommerce / start up business in a manager level or Individual contributor capacity is required. UAE experience and good working knowledge of the Middle East market is essential.
