Principals serve as the primary contact point for senior client executives and our consultants employed on client engagements. The Principal position offers excellent career and growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals with significant prior experience.
Responsibilities:
-Executing large and complex projects and ensuring that we meet client objectives. Project leadership spans strategic thought leadership and insight generation, directing and overseeing all the team’s day-to-day work efforts, regularly interacting with the client, and helping to shape the client agenda.
-Understanding competitive dynamics in the context of the industry (e.g. regulatory forces, macro, and microeconomic drivers, customer dynamics, changing buying patterns, etc.) and mastering our strategic toolkits.
-Developing the capabilities of our more junior consultants and gaining their followership.
-Supporting high-impact thought leadership (e.g. articles in leading publications, industry talks, white papers, etc.) to complement the firm’s existing areas of expertise, push the boundaries of our collective knowledge, and enhance the firm’s brand.
-Representing the firm as a relationship manager and a leader, building strong networks, successfully executing client engagements, and generating demand for new opportunities based on expertise/track record.
Just as every client project is different, so we recognize and value the diversity of backgrounds and skillsets for successful Principal candidates. We are seeking high-caliber individuals who want to join our winning team. Preference will be given to candidates with:
-At least 7-10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or within industry driving the digital agenda.
-Track record of business development activities and client management.
-In-depth knowledge of Digital and strategy topics (e.g. IT strategy, business transformation, operating models, operations optimization, business/product build, organization design, performance management, digital enablement, data strategy, large program management, shared services).
-Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
-Ability to apply content knowledge, provide thought leadership in project execution and develop new intellectual capital to support business development activities.
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; confidence in presenting to senior executives.
-Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
-Willingness to travel.
