This role will entail organizing and installing media equipment such as projectors, microphones, Sound mixers, Audio/video monitors, and sound systems. To ensure success as an A/V technician, you should have advanced knowledge of audio and video equipment, experience with lighting programs and filming techniques, and excellent troubleshooting skills.Audio Video Technician Responsibilities:• Setup A/V equipment for meetings and various events around the school• Meeting with Event Coordinators to discuss audio, lighting, and video requirements• Troubleshooting A/V equipment when there are technical questions or problems related to A/V equipment and identifying appropriate solutions• Altering venue arrangements according to school layout• Laying electrical and sound cables.
