Employment: Full Time

– Liaison with engineers and technicians from within the organization and with external consultants and contractors- Carrying out the review and design of ITS systems and infrastructure for road projects in accordance with Qatar standards, specifications and procedures- Carrying out inspections and review of existing ITS infrastructure- Providing ITS advice and guidance into various road infrastructure projects- Carrying out studies for the implementation and operation of ITS- Providing support in the preparation of route reports, location reports and area reports as required by the organization- Liaise with utilities providers and other stake holders- Liaison with other interdisciplinary technical specialists in addressing ITS issues on infrastructure projects

– BSc / BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering/Electrical/Electronic from a recognized university.- CEng, PE, PEng or equivalent Chartership is a must.- Minimum demonstrable experience of 4 years as a Chartered Engineer- 15 years of demonstrable experience in design, operation and maintenance of ITS infrastructure, with satisfactory exposure to all related disciplines.- Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience with management capacity.- Very good knowledge and experience with international & GCC design and construction code.

Assume responsibility and represent DNDD and Design Department for all aspects related to drainage.Provide leadership in all relevant departmental functions.Lead external & internal coordination pertinent to drainageReview, comment and recommend for acceptance or otherwise of related consultants’ submissions.Comprehensive responsibility for management and control of related functions in in-house projects, including detailed scope definition and initiation, work progress and completion and staff management.Liaise with utilities providers and other stakeholders.
