A solutions provider within the technical field is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst with an entrepreneurial and highly self- motivated outlook. This is a new position within the organisation and the role will support the Senior Team in providing reports, analysis and feasibility studies to aid decision making for the future of the business.
Duties of the role will include the analysis of global financial markets and private equity and venture capital market trends, in order to offer advice on the companies existing portfolios and perform further research on potential investment opportunities, again on a global scale. Once an opportunity has been identified it is the role of the Investment Analyst to provide complete financial analysis, investment proposals and formulate an investment strategy. Reports are therefore also a large part of the Investment Analyst’s role. You will also monitor the progress of the organisation’s current portfolio and assist in the increase of revenue and asset values through proven savings and strong strategy formulation.
The most suitable candidate will be currently based in the UAE or wider GCC region and hold a CFA and/ or Masters qualification in finance. You will be experienced in the interpretation of macroeconomic trends and be able to manage large volumes of financial data, down to the smallest of detail. Therefore, those with exceptional MS Excel skills and experience with SPSS tools or similar are all essential criteria.
It is also expected that you will possess at least 5 years of experience within the valuation of both business and assets, financial modeling, reporting and be a strong analytical thinker.
