Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
– Assists clients in the selection, implementation, and support of the SAP PI
– You will work closely with the business and functional teams regarding the viability of business requirements.
– Experience in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support.
– You will use your consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client’s business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– 8+ years of experience required.
– Expert in using PI/PO tools (mapping tools/editors) and proficient in different mapping styles (Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping.) & Interfaces using at least Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE) in PI 7.1 Ehp1
– Expertise in designing Interface solution based on Functional Spec, and also reviewing technical specifications
– Experience in B2B interfaces using EDI/ALE/IDOC interfaces
– Performance tuning and code optimization of PI/PO interfaces.
– Configuration/implementation and support of IDOC, RFC, JDBC, File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST,
