Senior ETL Developer – Arabic Speaker | Manpower Middle East

Responsibilities for senior ETL developer
• Must be a Arabic speaker and writer
• Act as subject matter export, as needed
• Make recommendations to use innovative, creative approaches as appropriate to meet internal client needs
• Assist in the design and development of enterprise data standards, best practices, and governance processes
• Develop data movement processes and code (using data movement tools, database stored procedures )
• Understands the common data movement architectures (like ETL, ELT,ETLT, ) and when/how each should be used
• Should be able to make judicious decision with respect to ETL design so that the final ETL solution satisfies all the quality and non-functional requirements criteria
• Should be able to come up with multiple approaches to any ETL problem statement/solution/technical challenge and take well informed decision to pick the best solution
• Making effective use of resources during the various stages of the work, ensuring that business objectives are met and deliverables achieved to agreed time, cost and quality
• Overseeing performance of programming staff, reporting on their effectiveness and takes action to remedy deficiencies
• Defines, oversees and contributes to ETL solutions, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation

Qualifications for senior ETL developer
• 2+ years of technical experience with SQL Server
• 5+ Years development experience, must include ETL tool like DataStage and/or Informatica, UNIX Shell /Perl Scripting
• 5+ Years experience with relational database technologies (preferably Teradata and or DB2)
• 5+ Years Data warehouse Applications Development experience
• 5+ Years development experience using standard Software Development Life Cycle Methodology
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
