About PwC ETIC – Egypt Technology and Innovation Centre
PwC is opening a new Technology & Innovation Center in Cairo that will deliver high quality technology solutions to consulting Clients across the globe. The Centre will provide a broad suite of skills and services to our clients, ranging from Packaged Applications such as SAP & Oracle, to Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Custom Development and Cloud services utilising AWS, Azure and Google, as well as expanding our existing Managed Services capabilities.
The centre is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client delivery to help shape and form this new venture.

The Team
Our practice is experiencing significant growth which is driven by demand from our clients for greater assistance in dealing with increasingly complex cyber security risks, and support in executing their change and growth agendas securely. – You will be part of a team that reports to the Cyber delivery service leadership and will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo, as well as those delivering client transformation programmes across the PwC Global Network, including the UK, Germany and Middle East.
As a Cloud Security Platform Associate, core responsibility overview:
We are seeking a number of Cloud Platform Security Engineers to join our practice, to respond to strong demand-led growth.
The core responsibilities of this role include:
– Deploy and configure Cloud Security solutions from 3rd party security platform vendors incl (but not limited to) zScaler, Tenable, Palo Alto, Cisco, McAfee.
– Work with the Cloud Operations and Architecture teams on the implementation of security standards, best practices, and technology rollout strategies.
– Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams for security tools, system environments, and cloud operations.
– Configure client’s existing security solutions to address vulnerabilities, mitigate threats and help derive more value from their investment
– Participate and lead Cloud Security and DevSecOps initiatives within internal and client teams
– Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for security tool / vendor landscape / market developments
Role Requirements:
– Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful cloud security solution implementation within client-facing roles.
– Proven track record in implementing cloud security 3rd party solutions.
– Experience working with cloud native security tools is desirable
– Familiarity with a programming or scripting language is a plus (e.g. Python)

– Experience in Consulting or in working within multinational environments.

Education
– University Degree
– Vendor-related security certifications are advantageous.
– Having Cloud security certifications such as CCSP or CCSK is desirable.
– Security Certifications (e.g. CEH, SANS GSEC, ISC2 CISSP) is advantageous.
