IT Support engineer is required to join a global business based in their Dubai office. As an IT support engineer, the role is predominantly 1st line focused and will act as the first point of contact for all UAE staff and will also be a point of contact for offices based across the GCC. The company are looking for someone who has experience maintaining IT systems and IT infrastructures. The company are in a really exciting period and have grown continuously in their 100 year history and are continuing to do so, scaling their current offices whilst also opening more globally. There is a lot of opportunity with this role and the ability to get involved in project work and expand your technical knowledge. Responsibilities:
• Install, configure and maintain computers, networks and/or other IT related equipment and devices
• Provide software and hardware support to our employees both in-office and remotely
• Take ownership and resolve internal issues and requests to completion
• Take charge and action the IT on/off boarding process to ensure a smooth start date
• Escalate IT issues to the external IT service provider where appropriate
• Manage the ticketing systems
• Maintain IT assets & inventories
• Write and update user instructions and document changes
• Be involved in project work and responsible for tasks
• Support the management of all Office 365 licensing and reporting (mailbox size/traffic)

Skill required:
• Strong troubleshooting skills with both Windows and macOS using best practices
• Strong multitasking and prioritization ability
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including O365
• Experienced in using, logging and documenting technical issues in a ticket managing system
• Experience with Windows Server Active Directory users and computers
• Knowledge of networking such as TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
