Full Time
• Design, implementation, maintenance, and support of data warehouse systems and related data marts.
• Create database architectures and data repositories.
• Work with LIMS both in setup, troubleshooting, configuration and assist lab team
• Assist the company in ensuring proper balance between front-end systems and back-end processing capabilities.
• Implementation of processes for auditing data warehouses and ensuring data quality and traceability.
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Provide some level of systems administration on local and remote compute resources
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data and discover/report trends and patterns
• Ensure data traceability, accounting, submission and retrieval with association to other meta data sources
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Bionformatics, Computational Biology or related field, a PhD may be an advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in data science, especially Omics data analysis or management,
• Proficient in data mining and statistical analysis.
• Experience in using LIMS at a higher level including configuration, troubleshooting etc
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (i.e., Java/Python, SAS)
• Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects and cloud
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Problem-solving aptitude
