Our client is looking to hire a Restructuring Advisor to join their team in Qatar. This role will report to the Director of Credit and Risk.
You will be responsible for identifying accounts (distressed or potential distress) under remedial management and drive the development of the turnaround plan for the business with clear, measurable KPI’s and in close consultation with internal stakeholders and the full ownership by the client.
You will drive and monitor the execution plan as well as be part of the entire distress asset framework, helping in the management of NPL’s and assist the team with skills for business turnaround and remedial management. You will also be responsible for the relationship management and be the key contact for clients, you will assist in setting up the department with governance, roles, tolls and policies. In addition, you will contribute and assist in the strategic objectives of distressed asset management by focusing on the business turnaround with the identified clients.
The successful candidate should be Degree qualified within a relevant field as well as have the relevant turnaround experience. You will possess an understanding of root causes of distress and the ability and experience to develop restructuring options as well as the ability to take decisions to restructure or exit client relationship.
You should be an excellent communicator and negotiator who can show accountability and a high level of both analytical business skills and risk analysis. Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not essential for this role. Excellent English communication is a must. Banking / Consultancy experience preferred.
