Responsibilities
The asset analyst will support and report to the data asset manager
The asset analyst will travel to off-sites locations within the UAE to tag physical IT assets
Manage all assets, track the movement and availability of the assets and maintain the availability of the assets
Check, monitor and track the budget in relation to the assets, Check the physical asset locations
Document the requirements, assist in formalizing the requests and the POs, track the inventory
Labelling the assets, tracking the operationalization of the assets, Tracking the replacement, warranties and depreciation of assets
Track POs, invoices and payments related to assets
To very closely track the insurance of all the assets in different locations, as well as the transit insurance
To track and manage the movement of assets to ensure a flawless, correct, well-organized and smooth operation
To be able to build and maintain a proper asset register based on the details and labels. If the information is not readily available, the expectation is that the asset analyst collects the documentation to ensure that the information in the register is always complete .
Support in operational tasks
Researches, documents and resolves issues as they arise
Provides sophisticated analytical, consulting and information support to senior management (e.g., reports, mid-level data analysis)
Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials
Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the operational and commercial performance of operating assets
Provide feedback to domain contacts on adherence to asset management processes
Ensure that the company’s assets comply with legal requirements, internal policies, and best industry standards in relation to HSE, O&M, financial management, corporate governance, etc and raise to the management any incompliances
Assist in preparing the annual Asset Management Plan contribute to its execution
Work with the management to establish and maintain a risk register related to the assets including identifying and evaluating risks as well as proposing mitigation actions
Conduct monthly operational and financial reviews of the company’s assets to assess progress against budgets and targets, identify the main variances and work with the management of the assets to propose corrective actions
Complete asset management tasks assigned in Remedy
Identify discrepancies in asset configuration and follow up with domain level owners to ensure proper reconciliation
Requirements
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Background in IT in Assets and Hardware
Thorough knowledge of the different modules of asset management and how to implement it
Solid experience in asset management
Certifications are not required but a bonus: CA, ACCA, CMA
Bachelor degree
1+ years of relevant experience
Based in the UAE
This role involves frequent travel, so a UAE driving license and a car is preferred
