Our client, a leading a financial services in the region, are looking to hire a HSE Specialist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the overall management of the HSE and occupational health function.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for the overall management of the occupational health and safety program
• Ensure that local standards are adhered to in accordance with the relevant authorities
• Support business continuity strategy across the organization
• Investigation of accidents and incidents
• Develop and continuously improve a robust health and safety framework
• Conduct analysis and audits
• Incident management
• Develop and maintain hygiene and health programs
• Draft reports and update senior management
• Candidates should have at least 5-10 years of professional experience
• Lead Auditor qualification is essential for this role
• Candidates are required to have excellent communication skills and able to conduct themselves in a highly professional environment
• Knowledge of local HSE standards and authorities
• Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor level degree
• Risk management, quality management, contract management and audit experience in a medium to large organization is essential for this role
