Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design and develop native Android applications
• Excellent knowledge in JAVA and OOPs
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and XML Designing
• Independently design and develop mobile applications
• Familiar with and articulate the differences and trade-offs between competing mobile platforms such as Android, iOS etc.
• Knowledge of MVVM, Architecture and Jetpack components and Retrofit, XML Designing
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and knowledge in any dependency injection framework is desirable.
• Understanding of Reactive programming
• Experience with HTML5, JQuery Mobile, PhoneGap or Appcelerator is a plus.
• Preparation/Understanding design documents
• Interaction with multiple teams for collaborative development
• Familiarity with automated deployment strategies
• Must be extremely passionate about learning new technologies & implementing them.
• Must take ownership and accountability for projects & deliver on timelines.
Candidate Profile & Skills required:
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Android Native application development experience
• Must be a graduate in computer science engineering or equivalent
• Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be a very good team player
• Should have working knowledge in Agile methodology and aware of the terminologies
• Should have an overall understanding of Full-stack development
• Good understanding of e-commerce domain and the Middle East market
• Availability should be immediate & ready to travel onsite on short notice
