Virtualization Engineer (Citrix) Intermediate Level | NSI & Bluefin Talent

My Client an Information Technology & Services Company specializing in innovation and solutions are seeking for Specialist Client Virtualization Support Engineer in Intermediate and Advance Level. They will be responsible for the day to day support of all Citrix / VMWare, VDI related services within the client environment, performing troubleshooting and resolving incidents.

Responsibility:
• Perform general Citrix / VDI support duties and schedule maintenance tasks as required.

• Adhere to change control – create and implement changes as required to maintain the environment and ensure the stability of the Citrix / VDI Server environment and relevant supported services

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Citrix CCP-V
• VMWare VCP
• MCITP
• ITIL Foundation Certificate v3 a bonus

Experience Requirements – Intermediate Level:
• 5+ years of overall experience with XenDesktop and Citrix / VDI support within environments exceeding 2 hypervisors and 300 VDI
• Very good troubleshooting skills
• Be able to successfully demonstrate proficiency in at least 80% of Technical knowledge requirements and be able to perform at least 80% of Key responsibilities.
• Ability to increase proficiency to 90% within 12 months with some guidance from senior team members.
